Route Introduction

Great Zig Zag Railway is an Open Rails Train Simulator Route based in the early 1900's and includes the section of line from Mt Victoria to Bowenfels.

Note: This route will not run in MSTS. The activities and rolling stock will only work in Open Rails.

Route Map Preview

If you would like to preview and keep the Route map for Version 1 then you can use Tim Booth's (now upgraded to V0.98) excellent trackviewing tool. This update allows the preview to be loaded and kept permanently installed without causing any MSTS errors.

Please:

i) Read the readme file first.

ii) Download Track Viewer (V0.98)

iii) Download the Zig Zag Railway Preview Route Map Preview.

iv) Install the above components and open Trackview to view route.

For the convienece of players who have never used a train simulator before, this route has been package as a single install with all the relevant objects included in the install file for Open Rails.
